Pumpkin Spice Life Snapchat Story October 2015

On October 18, 2015 Snapchat featured a fantastic story that made it clear to all Snapchatters that the fall season is indeed upon us…as is all things pumpkin related.

The story was titled, “Pumpkin Spice Life” and began with an opening statement, “Hop on our hayride! From apple orchards to corn mazes, take in the fall foliage and indulge in all things pumpkin spice. Pumpkin Spice LIFE”. There were multiple geofilters seen throughout the entire 2:29 minute story including colorful fall leaves, facts about the season and of course many pumpkins. One of the geofilters revealed that, “The biggest pumpkin in North America weighs in at 2,185 pounds. That’s the size of two polar bears!”

The story featured exactly what the opening statement suggested and so much more. People throughout several cities across America could be seen making apple cider, getting lost in a giant corn maze, watching sheep get sheered, carving pumpkins, throwing pumpkins off of a deck (pumpkin chuckin) and joining in on a pumpkin pie eating contest, which took place at the Half Moon Bay Fall Festival.

With the crunchy leaves, fall colors at every turn and the aroma of pumpkin spice lattes filling the air, it will come as no surprise if this is simply the first of many more Snapchat stories featuring a fun fall theme.
