Man vs. Turkey Snapchat Story November 2015

On Sunday, November 22, 2015 Snapchat followed the annual Turkey-Eating Competition in Mashantucket, Connecticut.

Seeing as Thanksgiving is just around the corner, it was time for an event that Snapchat called, “Man vs. Turkey” where contestants from all over the States showed up in hopes of scrounging down as much turkey as their mouths and stomachs could hold.

The story opened up with a video of the multi-championship holding legend himself, known as Crazy Legs. He was featured multiple times throughout the story with a geofilter that stated, “After graduating from college, Crazy Legs worked as a nude model and a window washer.” This of course made the event all the more interesting and intriguing for anyone who so happened to follow the story on Sunday.

The Snapchats continued to follow several other contestants throughout the event that highlighted different facts about each one as well as the competition itself. For example, one rule stated “NO SPLASH ZONE: Contestants can drink liquid during the competition, but they can’t dunk their turkey in water.” Another one said, “KEEP IT DOWN: ‘Urges contrary to swallowing’ may result in disqualification.”

It came as no surprise to all onlookers to see Crazy Legs clutch the title once again. The competition was definitely one for the books and although the contestants may have stuffed their faces with turkey on Sunday, Thanksgiving is only a few days away where they can do it all over again.
