Bring on the Holidays Snapchat Story November 2015

On Saturday, November 28, 2015 Snapchat featured a story that was nothing short of the perfect welcome for the coming Christmas season.

The story was titled “Bring on the Holidays” and opened with a fun Santa geofilter that stated the title, along with a statement that said “Shop for the perfect gifts, cut down your Christmas tree and dust off the menorah as we digest yesterday’s food and officially kick off the holiday season.” There were a couple more geofilters that could be seen throughout the story as well as different Snapchats from various cities across the U.S.

The story also gave an inside look into what these cities were doing in order to bring in the new holiday season. Everything from the traditional Christmas tree lighting, setting up the decorations, parades of lit up Christmas floats and so much more.

With Thanksgiving now behind us (besides the couple of leftover dishes that still need to be eaten) it is officially the Christmas season where pumpkin spice lattes are being replaced with peppermint and eggnog lattes and radio stations are playing nothing but Mariah Carey’s ‘All I Want for Christmas is You’ along with other classics.

If you have yet to cut down your Christmas tree or settle for the fake one stored in the attic, string your house with twinkling lights and make your Pandora station of choice to all things Christmas, you better get to it. The holiday season is officially upon us and before you know it, Christmas will have come and gone. Savor this next month and be sure to keep an eye out for what will surely be many more holiday themed Snapchat stories in the following days and weeks leading up to it.
