UPDATE: At 11:48 my website is back online with Google Analytics reading traffic.
At 11:45 am est I was finally able to login to my email but my website is still down.
On the morning of Monday, December 21st, 2015 many webmasters and website owners woke up to their websites being down. If you were on a Bluehost server your website was down off and on throughout the morning. If you are like me and check Google Analytics on a consistent basis you might have thought that Google Analytics was broken or you were hit by an algorithm of some sort. That is not the case. Check your website to make certain it is up and running.
As I am tying this article my website traffic is slowly coming back. For over 20 minutes between 11:00 and 12:00 noon Wojdylo Social Media and a large contingent of Bluehost websites were unavailable to website owners and those finding the websites in search. While my Google Analytics is showing I have visitors I still see my website is down. It looks as if Bluehost is trying to reset some servers to see if they can fix the problem.
There are also tons of tweets complaining about this outage during a very busy time of year for retail websites and blogs:
@bluehost soooo my web site is down and I’ve been told I am 1 minute away from technical support for a good 10 minutes now. Impressed. Not.

Have you seen your website down in the last few hours? Are you considering going to a new hosting service?
