I rarely use social media but today I did and I got into a discussion on Twitter. Someone was chatting about the new Google Posts. I said “you mean Google Podium?”

Anyways we were talking about the same thing. Google hasn’t given it an exact name but they call it “your podium” and the logo is some people at a podium:

By definition, a podium means a “platform on which a person may stand to be seen by an audience, as when making a speech…”

Of course, Google is the best platform where a person could have an audience. People who rank in search have an audience of millions of people.

Which is incidentally why I do not use social media, where most people have an audience of about 20 people.
