Google Fiber is a 1GB/s Internet connection. In other words, it’s really fast. We’re talking 200x faster than your average Internet connection. Some packages include HDTV. It is only available in a few places, and for the current list you should visit the Google Fiber page here and the Fiber Blog.
Fun fact: I am a certified Fiber Optic Cable Technician. (In my quest to understand everything about networks possible, I got a little carried away). Hey, who doesn’t want to know how to terminate cables made of glass? 🙂
